Retopoflow 3 for Blender 2.8 Free download +Full Review:
RetopoFlow 3 blender 2.8 free downloadwill help you create smooth, efficient and effective models for AAA quality versions of your detailed shapes.
RetopoFlow does what the modeling style does for retopology. This retopology package turns a difficult and technical process into a smooth artistic flow, so you can create professional models in less time than ever.
No more creating manual retopology. RetopoFlow allows you to draw geometry on the surface of your high resolution model.

There are no other problems with polystrips
“We have been aware of the problems from the beginning,” explains Jon. “We did our best to write code just once and call it from many places, but we found that it is often difficult to see from the trees, and similar codes are written over and over. This was obvious when we added new vehicles or needed a new feature. “
For example, to loosen a newly designed polygon strip using Polystrips, you had to exit Polystrips and start Relax. However, when the artist returns to Polystrips, all Polystrip information is lost, and only by adding Relax functions to Polystrips does it allow more settings (such as increasing the number of episodes).
Multiple lanes in the new RetopoFlow 2.0
“One problem that used to happen over and over again was using Polystrips on thin surfaces, where it was nice to create a new quad strip, but moving one of the control points would cause the quads to jump to the wrong side of the source,” explains Jon.
“The previous design was not enough: we needed a reboot.”
After all, RetopoFlow is an extremely useful and essential set of retopology tools, but has so far been hampered by inconsistent user experience, non-intuitive workflow, and inconsistent visuals.
“We decided to complete the restart”
With feedback from the RetopoFlow user community, Jon and Jonathan Williamson have been making changes on a smaller and larger scale since the first release of RetopoFlow created in May 2013 (the full changelog can be found on the RetopoFlow page) .
However, it has become clear in recent years that a more basic overhaul will be needed. “After brainstorming and solutions, including an attempt to reorganize some of the Polystrips and Contours codes to work together, a decision was made:” The old design won’t cut it, “says Jon.” We needed to reboot. “
A new RetopoFlow from Scratch
When the decision was made to drop the previous design, RetopoFlow 2.0 was easy to design and implement. The core team was a shorter man than the RetopoFlow 1 development days: this time Jonathan Williamson and Jon Denning took the lead without Patrick Moore. Patrick Moore was the original developer for Contours, but he was too busy to deal with his day job. At the same time, the crew won a different Patrick (Crawford, that is) and an intern Christopher Gearhart working on the display code for Polypen.
“We joined together for a sprint and made the code a reality.”
Jon began creating the common framework that all vehicles worked on. According to the artist, this frame is RetopoFlow Mode and acts as Edit Mode or Vertex Paint. The framework for the programmer is to “capture” the target network, manipulate the target, ask questions about the font, create brushes, create an interactive user interface, etc. It has provided some useful tools for. The framework supported a design similar to MVC. “For a time, RetopoFlow 2.0 was far from usable or usable because all the work was on the finish,” says Jon. “But once the framework was developed, adding new tools became an almost easy task.”
All of the RetopoFlow 1 tools are closely tied to algorithms, data structures, visualization, and user interface, making it very difficult to move them to the new frame design. Using the data structure, visualization, and user interface provided by the framework, Jon rewrote the basic algorithm for each tool.
The same approach, new RetopoFlow
As for Jon and Jonathan’s approach, not much has changed: “We came together for a sprint, planned great things, and made the code a reality,” says Jon. “We found more experience and knowledge than I thought would make RetopoFlow 2.0 a huge success.”

Strokes – Fill surfaces with a single stroke
Duplicate selections with fast strokes and fill areas quickly with grids from a single stroke.
New in 3.0: new vehicle!
Patches: Fill large areas with quads
To fill large areas with selection-based padding, use patches to make patches fast and easy by completing them with preview.
What’s new in version 2.0: Patches are now a special tool with more control and simpler workflows.
curly
Use the Loops tool to shift edges and add new edge loops to existing face loops. All new loops are automatically adjusted to the surface.
What’s new in 2.0: Looping and swiping into a single tool
Fit and relax
Tweak and Relax tools provide a brush-based system to quickly reposition geometry and smooth webs with a fast, chipped workflow.
What’s new in version 2.0: Tweak and Relax are now special tools with better algorithms and features
Universal surface connection
RetopoFlow adapts to the universal surface, so everything you do automatically adjusts new or selected geometry to the surface of your high resolution source objects.
Add a new polygon strip with Polystrips? It is adjusted according to the surface. Are you creating circular edge rings around the arm with the contours? Network instantly adapts to the surface.
It does not require shrinkage or facial skin!
How is V2 different from v1?
Version 2 is completely rewriting from scratch. A lot has changed, but
here is a summary of the top 5 high-impact changes:
Seamlessly switch between RetopoFlow tools with the new Unified Retopology mode
Offers the Contour tool for fast grill fills and contour-based extrusions
Never lose your job with natural networking and automatic background saving.
Work with existing target lattices or start from scratch
Rearrange your entire model in RetopoFlow
Other features in RetopoFlow 2
Version 2 is the complete rewriting of RetopoFlow and comes with many other features and improvements:
Beautiful Viewport-based user interface that keeps your tools close at hand while enabling fullscreen workspaces.
Full XYZ symmetry support with mesh screen.
View mesh visibility options and settings to adjust the mesh screen for good visibility, regardless of the project.
Internal general and tool assistance at the push of a button with F1 and F2.

Dramatic performance improvements rewritten from scratch for defragmentation and cleaner code (makes it much easier to implement future updates and new tools)
